Pack of 10 Dutch Bato Buckets with siphon elbow drain fittings. The Dutch or Bato Bucket is designed for growing vine crops like tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants etc. They can be used with various type of growing media such as clay pebbles, perlite, coconut coir and vermiculite. Two drain siphon elbows (included) maintain approximately 2 inches of water / nutrients in the bottom of the bucket to prevent the roots from drying out between watering. The Dutch Bucket mounts directly on top of a 1-1/2 inch water collection pipe for efficient recycling of water. They are typically arranged in rows on the floor or on benches, with one irrigation supply pipe feeding drippers from above and one drainage line circulating back to the reservoir from below. Easily joined together, these systems can be scaled to any size, and are one of the most reliable and easily controlled growing methods.
